Social
Justice Projects
focus on empowering disadvantaged people, especially women
and girls, and indigenous peoples. Our projects support human
rights including social and cultural freedoms in addition
to freedom from hunger, landlessness, disease and exploitation.
We create or support innovative grassroots programs that function
in an environmentally sound way and that can be reproduced
by others to encourage continuing change.

The Atomic Mirror -
aims to deepen the public debate on nuclear issues and inspire
people to take action. Through education, advocacy, and action
Pamela Meidell, the project director, works to abolish nuclear
weapons and power.
Asetena
Pa - The Asetena Pa project is a collaboration between
a local group of People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in Ghana,
and popular local artists and the directors, in order to create
a “Concert Party” performance based on the experiences
of the participating PLWHA.
Guatemalan
Organic Agriculture with Mayan Women - starting with one
demonstration organic garden, this project has blossomed into
40 gardens, family grain storage silos, efficient stoves,
medicinal herbs, and health care in the village of Casaca,
in Guatemalan highlands.
International Accountability Project provides
advocacy support to people around the world who are seeking
to hold international financial institutions or multinational
corporations accountable for violations of environmental and
human rights, and to help give voice to and defend the rights
of communities threatened with displacement by development
projects such as dams and power plants.
Just
Vision Just Vision highlights Palestinian and Israeli
civilian peace builders who cross checkpoints, cultural, religious
and economic barriers to work for peace in the region, and
is a stepping stone for audiences who want to contribute positively
to resolving the conflict, but who simply don't know where
to begin.
S.E.E.-Social
and Environmental Entrepreneurs, continues to be a sister
organization to EarthWays, sharing our offices and expertise
while providing financial consulting and facilitation to many
small non-profit projects
