Art
and Educational Programs are exploring new
paradigms emerging from the interaction of personal consciousness,
spiritual wisdom, contemporary science, and ecological awareness.
For example, Eco-psychology explores our psychological relationship
to nature and the effects that this relationship has on our
environment. It also studies the effect a polluted environment
has on psychological health and how the hazards of our modern
world cause added anxiety, stress, and alienation. After a
series of Eco-Psychology conferences and several Activist
Retreats, we recently produced Southern Californias
first "Bioregional Awareness" conference. Additional
community-building conferences and retreats are planned within
our "Spirit and Nature" theme. The aim is to expand
our activist community and to appeal to those interested in
personal awareness.

World Festival of Sacred Music
- Los Angeles (WFSM) was a series of 55 musical and cultural
events that occurred over a fourteen-day period in September
2002. EarthWays helped the Foundation For World Arts produce
WFSM, a musical and artistic vessel, created in kindness,
to honor diversity and inspire an appreciation of the interdependence
of the planet and all its many beings.
